Chris is a Principal User Researcher at Liberty Mutual Insurance.

Chris previously worked at MIT, where he spent a decade building and running an internal UX consultancy focusing on user research. Over his career, Chris has worked as a technical writer, information designer, consultant, and user researcher. He has worked at MIT, Autodesk, Sun Microsystems, Genuity/BBN, Domain Pharma, HR Block, Paragon Imaging, Fidelity Investments, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and Aetna Life & Casualty.

Chris has been an adjunct lecturer teaching UX for several decades at Northeastern University and most recently at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Chris was involved in UXPA for many years, being on the board of both the Boston and International chapters.

Chris, along with his husband, is an avid traveler across the cold North Atlantic, an Irish history devotee, and spends too much with his Boston Terrier, Cabot.
