Have you ever found yourself bound up by fear, and more than a little afraid to move your design forward?

Or have you ever felt like you’ve run out of fresh ideas, and all your attempts at innovation seem to be falling flat?

Or maybe you’ve had the opposite experience, where ideas are coming fast and brilliant, and now you’d love to be able to do that again and again?

If you’re like me, you’ve encountered these situations, and other mental stumbling blocks countless times in the course of your work as a designer. In this talk, we will examine the roots of these problems, and then delve into strategies and techniques that can help us overcome them.

This talk draws on several well-regarded books, which will be examined, as well as my own personal experiences as UX Designer, working in the trenches, for what seems like millennia.
