I came out of my graduate studies with an MFA, a prolific design thesis, and a new-found confidence in who I was and what I could offer the world through User-Centered Design — and I felt positioned to take my career to the next level. Eyes on the prize. Director of UX or CXO, here I come. 4 jobs in the short span of 2 years later, I suddenly came to realize that I still had some serious self-work I had to do that goes beyond the years of industry experience or the level of schooling I might have achieved. And that is where my journey to Servant Leadership in UX began.
