WCAG guidelines, levels of conformance, the many remediation techniques ... where do you start when learning about designing for accessibility? With the plethora of resources out there, it's easy to get lost. In our own learning journeys, we've used many sites and tools, internally and externally, that contained valuable content-and made our heads spin in the process. After wading through it all, we wondered: how might we make designing for accessibility more accessible?

To answer this for our own team, we facilitated a workshop to understand current challenges and created a simplified accessibility learning solution based on what we learned. We also realized that the issue of not knowing where or how to begin with designing for accessibility wasn't limited to our team, and that we could share our solution more broadly with other UX teams while getting feedback and improving it along the way.

Driven by our passion to increase inclusion in digital products, we're proud to share our learnings so that design teams everywhere can increase their accessibility knowledge and create inclusive products.

What you'll learn:
• How to incrementally bring accessibility to your design practice and team.
• Pain points and barriers from designers at our company.
• How to evangelize for accessibility with your teams.

What you'll take away:
• Approachable learning solution to implement accessibility in your products.
• Workshop format to teach your teams where to start with accessibility.
